Was in Domonics tonight, have been many times. Food is absolutely lovely. But the man serving needs a personality transplant. He was very rude and made us seem we were an inconvienience coming in. There was nobidy else in the chipper. He was so grumpy. People spending good hard earned money and not even a thank you or a hi.

Previously had great chips here, but our walk-in order this weekend was very disappointing. The side of curry sauce was lumpy, watery and flavourless, the onion rings were luke warm, limp and soggy, like they'd been sitting under a heat lamp for hours, the chips were good but not seasoned well enough. We walked in and were served quickly, but the quality didn't live up to past visits, and in all honesty, it was not good value for money. Average and underwhelming.

I have been a regular customer of this restaurant for a long time, visiting almost every week, and I have always considered it a recommendable place.

Unfortunately, on my most recent visit, I was deeply disappointed to observe practices that I consider unacceptable from a hygiene and sanitation standpoint in the kitchen area, specifically in the dishwashing area.

The conditions I witnessed do not reflect the minimum standards of cleanliness and sanitation expected of an establishment of this type, nor those required by current public health regulations. To be more specific, I saw a new person working in that area, whom I have already seen outside using drugs.

As a regular customer, this situation is of great concern to me and forces me, with great regret, to stop frequenting the restaurant until clear and verifiable corrective measures are taken.

I hope this observation will be taken as an opportunity for immediate improvement and correction.

I used to love domonics, not so much anymore. Last few times I've been, always some kind of issue. I can overlook something like a small mix up in an order or something else that can easily rectified at the till. I draw the line at uncooked food however.
I got a batter burger recently (not been back since) and when I bit into it, the grease that oozed from it immediately congealed on my finger. It looked like candlewax. The burger itself? It was warm, but certainly not hot. I was ill for two days.
I dunno what happened to Dominics, but they've lost their way. I'd drive from North Co Dublin into drogheda just to get food from them, that's how good they were. I hope the owners look at all these comments and shake the place up a bit. If they were great before then they could be great again.

Food was so bad my dog wouldn't eat it dinner box reheated chip chicken was so dry it was like sawdust ordered chicken curry never seen so many onions in ,please stay way your stomach will like u. Worst chipper ever
